The Harz region in Northern Germany is a great area for adventure racing. Like the Australian Ayer's Rock it rises from the flat surroundings.
Main area of interest for the race is the less known and touristic east Harz. With this race we encourage tourism in the area. It's well worth the visit.
The East Harz is intersting for all ages but especially for those who love the great outdoors. In both summer and winter the region is interesting for all.
